Mount Elgon is an extinct volcano located on the border between Uganda and Kenya. It is the fourth highest mountain in East Africa, with its highest peak, Wagagai, standing at 4,321 meters above sea level. Mount Elgon is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, and a rich birdlife.

A trip to Mount Elgon and Sipi Falls offers visitors a chance to explore some of the most beautiful and untouched wilderness areas in East Africa. From hiking and bird watching to cultural experiences with the local communities, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Additionally, the region is known for its coffee production, and visitors can sample some of the best coffee in Uganda while learning about the traditional methods of cultivation and processing

Sipi Falls is a series of three waterfalls located in the foothills of Mount Elgon, in Eastern Uganda. The falls are a popular tourist destination due to their scenic beauty and the opportunities they offer for hiking and outdoor activities. The first waterfall, known as the Lower Sipi Falls, is the easiest to reach, while the Upper Sipi Falls require a more strenuous hike. The third waterfall, known as the Simba Falls, is the most remote of the three.
